Canine and Feline
Health & Wellbeing

My personal journey into health and nutrition for my animals began with my cat, Obi, who at the age
of 3 was diagnosed with Inflammatory Bowel Disease. I tried different expensive brands of kibble
and canned foods to try to resolve the issue, but something about this treatment didn't feel quite right. Obi is only 2 years old!

At the time, I also had a puppy, Maya. From the start, she had always had gut issues. Not knowing where to turn for help, I consulted a Canine Feline Nutritionist to try a different dietary approach.

With her advice I began the switch to raw foods for both of my animals. The difference was absolutely amazing.

Firstly, they both loved the food, any raw foods I gave them in fact. Obi’s gut issues became 70% better than they had been, and Maya no longer suffered from colitis. They could both have such a wide variety of food, and it seemed to satisfy them so much more.

As I was still dealing with Obi's ongoing health issues, I decided I wanted to learn more about canine and feline nutrition, which led me into a whole other world, where health begins in the gut and whole foods reign supreme! I began to learn how to use holistic health first, then use other medications only when absolutely needed and necessary.

Our animals health conditions are mirroring those of the human world,
and there is so much we can do to help them lead a healthier life.
I would describe myself as having a “common sense approach” to animal care and I am absolutely
passionate about our domestic pets being able to lead their absolute best life.
